Optional extra credit(week 8) : How to study English

1. Activating Your Vocabulary

Activate your vocabulary by thinking or speaking briefly. For example, if you are going to study
English on topics that focuses on vacations, take a moment to think about your last vacation, what you did, what you enjoyed, etc. This simple exercise will help your brain warm-up to vocabulary.

2. Activating Your Grammar

Activate your grammar by thinking about the general grammar area before you begin to study. For example, if you are going to study English grammar focusing on the past, stop to think about what you did last weekend, where you went, etc. As with activating vocabulary, you'll help your brain bring up what it knows about the past simple in an easy way before you begin to focus on studying English grammar in detail.

3. Study English Every Day

It's important to study English every day. Study for thirty minutes every day instead of two hours once a week. Short, steady practice is much better for learning than long periods on an irregular basis.

4. Study English by Choosing Topics that Interest You

One of the most important things to do is to study English using topics that you like. This will help motivate you because you will also be learning about a topic you find interesting while you study English.

3. On the blog (optional extra credit): Write about someone you admire. Tell why you admire them (at least 200 words).

My admire person is Angelina Jolie. She is funny. She dedicates to other people true.  Some people might say that she is kind person. I see that she use to her celebirty for the betterment of others in ways that are more than superficial. Madonna and others she has worked hard and has spent days at a time like afganistan. She has given without condition and has given a home to children that otherwise would not have another chance. So I admire her as a true humanitarian. If fame follows her it is truely because we cannot get enough of her and not because she invites it. I want to every entertainer help to poor people.

Writer’s opinion of the movie :
I just went to the advanced screening for Jurassic Park 3D and a classic is always a classic. Its been so long since I last watched this movie, and I remember it being great! Now that it has been brought to 3D...even better!!! You definitely feel the movie even more... as if you're part of it, on a ride or something. I enjoyed it in 3D, even though it gave me a slight headache wearing them. If you've been a fan of the Jurassic Park, then you will have to continue that dedication and go see it! If you've NEVER seen the movie before, then you should!

Writer’s opinion of the movie:
"Welcome to Jurassic Park." Director Steven Spielberg was the perfect directing choice to bring this Michael Crichton scientific thriller to life. In perfect Spielbergian style, the film teases out the dinosaur park for the first act, then kicks into a full throttle action/adventure. Sam Neill, Richard Attenborough, and Jeff Goldblum all give outstanding performances that draw the audience into the film. But what stands out most, are the amazing special effects. The dinosaurs are both breathtaking and terrifying; capturing everything that we find fascinating about them. And, John Williams brilliantly captures the majesty and adventure of the film with his score. Jurassic Park is a wonderful film that captures the imagination.
